How are shipping costs and sales tax determined?

For items available in our online store, shipping charges are a flat rate of $10.00 per order.

For custom pieces, shipping charges will equal the actual shipping cost from the delivery service. We do not mark up our shipping costs.

We are legally required to collect local and state sales tax, including on shipping charges, on all items delivered to addresses in our home state of New York.

How do I care for my new cutting board?

• Hand wash with dish soap and warm water after use.

• Do not soak cutting boards (or any wooden kitchen items!) in water or place them in the dishwasher. This will cause your board to warp or crack.

• After washing, wipe off any excess water and allow to air dry.

• When the board appears dry, simply apply a coat of wood conditioner or mineral oil to refresh the appearance.

Where do you ship to?

We ship to the 48 contiguous states of the United States.

When will my order ship?

For items available in our online store, most orders will ship in 2-5 days. You will receive an email notification when your package ships along with tracking information.

Custom furniture is usually completed within two to four months upon receipt of your deposit. Lead time does not include delivery to your final location. We will provide you with a best estimate possible on lead-time along with your quotation.

What is your return policy?

We stand behind the quality of our products and want every purchase to be a positive experience.

For items available in our online store:

• You may return an unused item within 30 days of its receipt at your home. Please ship the item prepaid to the address below.

• If, within 30 days of the item’s receipt, you encounter a manufacturing defect you may return the item at our expense for an exchange or refund. Contact us via email (quillwoodworks@gmail.com) for a prepaid shipping label.
